New Unit of Study

During the months of January and February, the kindergarten classes here in Shelburne will work on a common unit about Sea Creatures.  This unit has been written to incorporate many reading and writing expectations from our new Common Core state standards.  The kids will be having fun learning new facts about sea creatures while being readers, writers, and scientists.  Here are some photos from today of the kids writing down what they "think they know" about sea creatures on a graphic organizer.
