100th Day Fun














Penny Math & Science Investigation

We are in the middle of a unit on measurement.  The children have been learning the value of the penny and nickel.  Today, we completed a penny science investigation where they predicted how many drops of water it would take to overflow a penny.  They worked with partners to complete the investigation and shared their findings in a scientist meeting.  Below are photos from the investigation as well as one photo of the chair arrangement the class uses to share their findings after an investigation.
