Dive Into Summer Reading Kickoff

Today the students attended an assembly outlining the details of our "Dive Into Reading" summer reading challenge.  The children will be coming home with calendars for June, July, and August with directions on what to do throughout the summer to record the days that they read at the top of the first page.  Keep these safe and have your child bring these calendars back to school next year to give to their girst Grade teachers. They will be adding jewels to our summer reading bulletin board for every day that they read.  As part of the celebration, each child received a free book to bring home and keep!   Below is a picture of the bulletin board as well as photos of the children enjoying their new books.
