Rally Cat Visit

Friday was our whole school kickoff for "Pawsitive Coins".  This is our new positive reinforcement system that will be used school wide.  Students will be rewarded with "pawsitive coins" when they are caught honoring our school rules of being safe, responsible, and respectful.  Rally Cat, from UVM athletics, came to visit at our whole school assembly on Friday.  We were so lucky to have him visit our class as well!  When students earn a cat coin, it will be placed in our classroom reward jar.  This new system will replace our marbles.  It will be used in the same manor.  When all of our coins are earned, we will vote on a classroom reward. Those coins are then distributed into our whole school cat coin collection center.  When we meet our school wide cat coin collection goal, we will have a cool school wide celebration.  The kids are so excited and cannot wait to reach our first goal!
