Catching Snowflakes

We have a new bulletin board in the hallway!  The kids were so excited to once again catch snowflakes with yesterday's storm.

Wool

Today the kids began to learn about wool from a parent in our classroom.  They learned about where wool comes from, they got to feel and describe various wool fibers, and heard a really cute story about sheep.  Stay tuned for some more fun with wool in the upcoming weeks.

My Little Wild Things

This week our Reading Workshop focus is identifying characters and settings in classic children's literature.  Today we reread Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.  The kids made these super cute monster characters.
